Give a listen to my Making UX Work podcast.

First and foremost, this isn’t the interview show it once was. If you’re looking for interviews, check out episodes 1–20; if you want to explore the personal side of this career, stick around, because that’s what we’re doing here.
It’s just me now, talking honestly about the stuff that rarely makes it into conversations around UX and product design podcasts — or books or courses or conference talks or social media posts for that matter — dealing with confidence issues and impostor syndrome; setting better boundaries, navigating corporate politics, surviving bad managers and transcending difficult people; turning combat into collaboration and growing into the UXer, designer you want to be.
Accepting what is and ending each day feeling proud of yourself and all you’ve accomplished.
I guess what I want more than anything else is for you to feel less alone. To know things are tough everywhere and that we are most definitely all in this together. If you’ve ever wondered if it’s just you… it’s not. Believe me.
And above all else I hope to show you that nothing you face cannot be overcome. That the challenges you face every day are not a value judgment of your ability or your worth. That you have more power than you realize — and that it’s time to reclaim and start using that power.
PLEASE NOTE: I do not interview guests.
Agents, please do not send me requests to have someone you’re representing on the show. The answer is always going to be no.
